  8. This directory contains code for IDL routines written in the
  9. IDL language. We recommend that you do not store your own
  10. library files in this directory, as it may be overwritten
  11. by the IDL installation program if you choose to remove or
  12. install components of the IDL distribution. Instead, store
  13. your own routines in a separate directory and include that
  14. directory in the IDL path.
